Shoe stretching is a great way to make new and old shoes comfortable
But if they are really tight or you struggle to get them on take them back if you can. Really old shoes may not be suitable if they are weak or the soles are starting to perish. If in doubt send us a photo and we will help you decide.
Seven shoe stretching tips
- New shoes? If they are really tight, take them back.
- Try wearing with the insole removed
- Use shoe stretching spray and wear immediately
- Heat with hair dryer then wear or while they are on your feet
- Heat, spray and wear
- Buy a stretcher for home use if you often have tight shoes
- Use snug fitting wooden shoe trees between wears
