Shoe Heel Repairs from Te Puke

Val had her heels repaired on her shoes.  Appears that Vals experience was at least as good as she expected! While we get many emails like this every month, this one really stood out with the nice happy little icons.

Mens black dress shoes resoled with leather soles

These shoes are possibly from the 60's, I'm not sure but they were really worn out in the soles and the heels were so worn the heel block was gone!

Here you see the new leather soles which are glued and stitched on. The nails in the toes are not normal! But the welt (which is the bit that the stitches hook onto on the shoe) was so old and weak we decided a few nails through into the insole would help.

Now that's a decent sized gusset!

Here was a challenge and a half! Brand new black and white horse riding boots that needed more than 10cm of extra width in the calf area. You can see the elastic panels we added either side of the zip. But wait there is more! Once Zoe was able to wear them she found that they were too tall, so they went back under the knife and had 10cm of height removed as well.

Gussets added both sides of zip and boot lowered 10cm.

Mens Leather 1/2 Soles and Rubber Heels

New to the area I asked a friend for the name of a cobbler in Mount / Tauranga as I have had serious problems with quality from Mr Minit previously (or send RM Williams boots back to RM Williams and get impeccable service from them)

She recommended you and I have to say you're a cut above for service and communication - time will tell if the quality of the workmanship stacks up but you are far from cheap so I hope there is quality underpinning the service - at this stage I am happy to give you a thumbs up and would recommend you accordingly.

​Sole Repairs - Tauranga

​Thank you for the repairs to the soles of my worn out sandals. For a quality shoe when I brought them I was disappointed at how the soles didn't last. Good as new again. In fact better than new and fit for a thrashing this season [and maybe even next year now]!

Shoe Recolouring and Resole

I am writing to say an enormous thank you for painting my white shoes,  black - they are simply AWESOME.

There is a long story behind these shoes.... I bought a black and white pair at Overland in Newmarket 2006 a '2 for 1 deal'  :-)

I have exhausted the black ones - wearing them almost every day,  every summer since BUT I have not been able to find anything similar, as comfortable etc. SO  you get 100% for all the effort in making me so happy!  ( Girls and their shoes) 

Recently you also fixed another favorite red pair of shoes for me! While none of these tasks are cheap, for  comfort and satisfaction the repair is well worth the spend!
